Erinji Temple

The Erinji Temple is a well known temple which was opened by Muso Soseki in 1330. It is known as the family temple of Takeda Shingen. The temple's stroke-style garden is a nationally designated site of scenic beauty, and is counted as one of the most important works of Muso Soseki. It was protected by Yanagisawa Yoshiyasu and flourished during the Edo period, and also has many famous items owned by the Yanagisawa clan.
